INTRODUCTION Welcome to my slideshow portfolio I am Ms.  Jonalyn  C. Favor, a student of Marikina Polytechnic College, Marikina City, under the program Bachelor of Technical Teacher Education. this portfolio contains my teaching experiences as a student teacher and here is also the knowledge I learned over the three months. I wanted to share my experiences through this portfolio.

To  the students of BTVTED 1-G (GFD), BTVTED 1-H (ELX), BTVTED 1-I (CT), BTVTED 1-J (DT) at Marikina Polytechnic College, for allowing me to become part of the family.  To  my cooperating Teacher Mrs. Jocelyn P.  Escorpizo  for her support, knowledge and guidance during my internship period.  To  my adviser, Mrs.  Maricel  R.  Mojica  and Mrs.  Angelita   Bonafe  for Their support and guidance.  To  my alma mater, Marikina Polytechnic College for its pursuit of excellence and as one of the leading institution in the field of Technical Education.  To  my classmates, co-interns for their help during my practice teaching.  To  my parents or family, for their support and love they gave to me.

MARIKINA POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE The school was first established on July 18, 1947 as the Marikina Junior High School by virtue of Municipal Council Resolution No. 59, s. 1947. On July 18, 1949, the school was renamed Marikina High School since the full four-year secondary general course was offered. Since its establishment, MPC has become one of the leading higher education institutions in Marikina. The school is committed to train not only students but also its own faculty with the relevant knowledge and skills toward technopreneurship.

MPC provides a complete set of technical programs to hone young talents starting from senior high school with their Academic and Technical-Vocational Livelihood Tracks.  It has undergraduate courses in Technical Teacher Education, Industrial Technology, and Certificate of Technology. Each course has several major tracks students can choose from. MPC is also open for graduate studies with Doctor of Education, Master of Education, Master of Arts in Teaching, Master of Technician Education, and Continuing Professional Education.

“Knowing different strategies can lead you into a better teaching journey, so don’t hesitate to discover a new strategy , be creative  as you can be.”

“I also believe that every students is exceptional and has something distinctive to contribute to their education.”

I feel nervous because I might not be able to properly execute the lesson I'm going to teach, not because I don't know but because of the expectations of ct and my students but I was happy when I finished my first lesson as a student teacher because the results were good and our cooperating teacher provided teaching strategies for our next lesson.  Gradually I also got to know us ct as  she  was giving feedback and suggestions on our  teaching.  I was happy because I learned some new teaching strategies in the first week as a student teacher.

I DISCUSSED ABOUT FEET AND NAIL CARE AND IM ENJOYING IT BECAUSE I ALSO LEARN ON HOW  TO TAKE CARE OF OUR NAILS PROPERLY .  THE STUDENTS ARE ACTIVE AND THEY ARE LISTENING ATTENTIVELY . THEY GIVE GREETINGS AND POLITE WHEN ASK  QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS.

In their first workshop they need to stitch 15 basic stitches or at least 8 stitches to complete their actual activity. For the second workshop they need to make or create an  upcycling  short. I really enjoyed their workshop.

Most of them are girls and I really admire them for submitting Their activities earlier

They are active and they answered very nice

They  are also active in submitting Their activities before deadline. They are also polite.

They are full of active students and punctual.

Learners have different skills and intelligence And as a future teacher we need to discover it.

One of the unforgettable practice teaching experience for me is making an exam because It was totally not easy but it’s also an opportunity to know a new technique in making a test

My Final Teaching Demonstration This is my final Demonstration and for me this is one of the most awaited days and  
at the same time I dread, I wait because when I finish it somehow I feel that little by  
little I have achieved my dream and that is to be able to graduate from college, 
scared because I think I might not be able to properly execute the topic or lesson I  
planned, but I’m happy because I finished well even with minimal mistakes but there 
is no perfect final Demonstration.

you still have to improve and to do that you need to learn, listen and accept comments or suggestions whether it’s good or bad because you will be the one to benefit in the future.. Just believe that you can, be brave, and above all believe. Always remember that it is fun to learn, explore new knowledge to further expand the learning experience that you can share with your future students.
