Mercury does not have any atmosphere meaning that this planet is only hot in the day time when it is directly facing the Sun. At this stage temperature can rise upto 425 degree Celcius, But at night the planet temperature can drop down to a freezing 180 degree Celcius. Venus is the hottest planet. Its thick clouds trap the Sun heat causing Venus to be sizzling 5000 degree celcius all the time..
