[Audio] Sapa Ralum Elementary School is located at Sitio Sapa Ralum of Barangay Malasay, one of the farthest barangays in the Municipality of Katipunan, Province of Zambonga del Norte. It was formally open in 2009, started as primary school, with a combination class of grade 1 and 2 in a makeshift classroom. It is situated in the southern part of the Municipality, and it is surrounded with mountainous terrain. The distance from the nearest public elementary school is 6 kilometers and public secondary school is 10 kilometers. It has a distance of 42 kilometers from the district office as well as from the poblacion and 53 kilometers away from the division office. Habal-habal/ motorcycle is the mode of transportation, but it can also reach by jeep and other private vehicle. The school is free flood occurrence during rainy season, but prone to landslide..
