INTRODUCTION. HCMC Institute of Applied Science and Technology was established under the Decision No . 4 756/QD-BGD datedAugust 26th 2005 by th e Minister of Educatio n an d Training. During the time of construction and development, HCMC Institute of Applied Science and Technology has overcome difficulties and challenges. With the determination of training and modernization of the country and integration into the global economy, the school has achieved remarkable progress. Currently, our College trains 27 majors in the field of Economics and Technology with more than 5,000 students. After graduation, students may continu e t o stud y contact from th e colleg e or intermediate education to university level at domestic and foreign universities that our college have linked. Our college is also a firm bridge between enterprises and students. Training quality of HCMC Institute of Applied Science and Technology have been recognized by employers through the thing that the college has received many requests for recruiting personnel of companies. In fact, educational quality of our college is highly recommended by businesses and human hunters, students of HIAST was qualified by more than 85% of Vietnamese businesses' professional standards. The mission statement ofHIAST is "Taking challenge - Creativity - Reality". We have achieve d many successes i n man y areas of training. Currently, internationalization in education is highly needed, especially from the fact development of foreign investments including businesses from ASIAN and EU into Vietnam. From that, the need of international cooperation becomes more and more necessary. In this, HIAST is one of first educational institutes in Vietnam that builds the mission statement of training top-trained students, who could adapt the international working environment and qualifications..
