Social science. SIMILARITIES The dressing styles are similer between Tamil Nadu and Jammu & Kashmir , like duppata , salwar kameez , etc . In the modern days the dressing culture is interchanging . DIFFERENCES In Tamil Nadu we live in hot Humid climate so we wear cottons.. Saris, dresses, shirts, pants, lungi, dhothi . In Jammu & Kashmir they Live in cold environment so they wear warm clothes like woolens, suits and salwar kameez.

Fabrics Used In Jammu & Kashmir : Most of the garments are made of wool, silk designed with intricate embroideries and cotton and also famous for the weaving of specialized fabrics like Pashmina shawls, Kani shawls, Chashme, Bulbul blankets etc ,. Fabrics Used In Tamilnadu : A wide variety of materials like cotton, chiffon, silk, crepe silk, organza, georgette, micro silk, pattola silk and famous zari silk is used in the dresses of Tamilnadu ..

Hindi. तमिलनाडु: तमिलनाडु में पुरुषों की पारंपरिक पोशाक अंगवस्त्रम और एक शर्ट के साथ धोती है। महिला पारंपरिक साड़ी और ब्लाउज पहनती है। तमिलनाडु की युवा लड़कियां फुल लेंथ स्कर्ट पहनती हैं जिसे पावडा कहा जाता है और हाफ साड़ी भी। सोने के गहने के बहुत सारे तमिल महिला द्वारा सामान के रूप में इस्तेमाल किया जाता है.
