Scene 3 (32s)

With more Work-from-Home arrangements, our working class need to focus on their work away from their energetic children and curious pets yet remaining aware of what their kids or pets are doing. Working behind closed doors provide a quiet working environment, but situational awareness is greatly reduced. Leaving the door ajar is a balance between noise reduction and awareness but is prone to being opened or closed by the children or pets as traditional door stoppers can be easily removed..

Scene 4 (54s)

Problem Statement. There is a need to design a means to keep the door ajar while preventing any door movement in home environments typical to the average HDB flat.
