[Audio] As many may know the human brain is the most important organ of the nervous system. We breathe without realizing because the brain receives signals from the outside body. Your brain is the source of all your characteristics, uniqueness, and skills. Understanding the brain's functioning will enable us to comprehend the principles behind human behavior and activity. All healthy human brains share the same fundamental structures and functions, even though each one is unique. With some other knowledge that I got from our Anatomy unit in Biology, every one of us is unique due to the ways in which our brain cells communicate, and this is influenced by both our genetic make-up and our interactions with the outside world. Our brain changes because of experience, whether it be physical or emotional, fortifying and weakening preexisting connections while also forming new ones. We may better explain the relationship between the physical brain, our behavior, and what makes us unique by understanding how these special connections are created and changed. Knowing the brain can initially help you in your future so you are not constantly questioning the odds of the way you act and think you are "crazy" when you are just normal because stuff happens..

[Audio] Three subsamples of a representative sample of 299 adult Sarajevo citizens—those who had remained in Sarajevo throughout the siege, those who had been internally displaced, and those who had returned as refugees—were investigated in 1998–1999, roughly three years after the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina. 100 people (71%) who were reassessed using the Brief Symptom Inventory were among the 138 study participants who could be located 11 years later. The number of returns grew over time, whereas the number of survivors with remaining psychological symptoms and overall psychological suffering declined. People who have previously been displaced did not exhibit any notable alterations. Cumulative exposure to trauma before and throughout the conflict predicted overall psychological distress at baseline after accounting for other variables. Eleven years later, more recent stressors, returnee status, and greater wartime trauma exposure were all linked to higher levels of overall psychological distress. Three subgroups of Bosnian conflict veterans showed persistently high levels of psychological disorders. Various combat experiences and current stressors may be related to the different symptom trajectories. Although the impact of current stressors appeared to grow over time, the cumulative effect of war traumata on mental distress maintained more than ten years after war and displacement..
[Audio] It is the memory system, which contains memories of events and information, that has a conscious component. A declaration, such as "Paris is the capital of France," or an instance, such as a previous trip to Paris. Nondeclarative memory, often known as implicit memory, refers to the several kinds of memory systems that lack a conscious component yet are nonetheless very significant. These include simple associative learning processes like classical conditioning (Pavlovian conditioning), simple non-associative learning processes like habituation and sensitization, as well as memories for skills and habits (such as riding a bicycle, driving a car, playing golf, tennis, or the piano). Knowing what and knowing how two different concepts are in declarative and nondeclarative memory. The DRM test is the name of this memory test. Additionally, it implies that all decisions must be driven by personal gain. The theory of selfish motivation is only a psychological natural rule. It is a natural rule that all motivations are ultimately selfish, just as it is a natural law of physics that bodies tend to travel toward one another in proportion to their masses and at velocities inversely proportionate to their distances from one another. Psychological egoism is a global theory that holds that every action is driven by self-interest in every individual. Psychological egoism is reductive because it holds that all motivations are ultimately selfish. In other words, it simplifies what initially appears to be a variety or multiplicity of impulses into a single sort. However, the psychological egoist can always respond that we act eventually not for the welfare of that other person but because it makes us feel good. This is true for every action in which we are considering the good of another person. In other words, it appears that there is nothing that could be used to dispute it, making it irrefutable (or irrefutable). This is not at all a nice thing; on the contrary, it is harmful..
[Audio] In essence, psychology is beneficial to humans in large part because it can explain why people behave in certain ways. A psychologist can assist people in improving their decision-making, stress management, and behavior based on analyzing past behavior to better predict future behavior with the use of this kind of expert insight. All of these can support people in having more fulfilling relationships, more self-confidence, and better communication in general..
