3-Child Policy. By Filip and Nikolai.
What is the three child policy?. The three-child policy is a policy that entails: A couple can have three children, in the People's Republic of China. The three child policy was announced after the release of the results of the Seventh National Population Census, which showed that the number of births in mainland China in 2020 was only 12 million Following this, all family size limits as well as penalties for exceeding them were removed.
Why is this policy a good thing?. This policy is a good thing because there is a dilemma in China where the only child has to later in life take care of 2 parents and 4 grandparents which puts a lot of stress on the child to be successful both in school and then later financially. This policy could increase the birth rate, making the % of the population of the new generation higher which would then lead to more people in the work force and less old people, leading to children not feeling so burdened and the whole economy to climb and be a lot more prosperous..
Why you should have 3 children. More children to take care of the older generation Mothers having a third child will be entitled to 98 days of maternity leave. When giving birth to a child in China the country gives you 5000 yuan which equals to about 777 US dollars..
