2. 2/19/2022. Add a footer. In year 2019 ,I live in Colombo, Nugegoda. Situated on the bank of Weressa Ganga. I was there with my mother and brother. My father was going to office. There was heavy rain since in the morning. But we were doing our works as usual. My father came around 7 ‘o clock. He said roads are flooding. We had took our dinner early. The flood water entered our house around 9 ‘ o clock. We started shifting things. We shifted cupboards, books, clothes and every single things. I was nervous. Because I have never seen such a flood in reality. Power was cut. We were all sitting on the beds. Water kept accumulated for a day. I would never forget that day..
