Corporate governance can assure the company is engaged in activities for short and long-term sustainability. It can also protect stakeholders' rights, be transparent and ethical, and enable the organization to adapt to any external changes..

[Audio] In order to build a more equitable society in the city of Addis Ababa, various initiatives have been taken, ranging from increasing access to healthcare and housing services to creating opportunities for economic growth. Progress has been made in raising citizens’ standards of living and fostering a sense of inclusion. The internet has opened up a wide array of resources and tools to help pave the way forward and citizens are in a strong position to bring about meaningful change..

2. ትርጓሜ. የቃሉ አገባብ ሌላ ትርጉም የሚሰጠው ካልሆነ በስተቀር በዚህ ሰነድ “በማዘጋጃ ቤታዊ አገልግሎት አሰጣጥ የተቋማት የቅንጅታዊ አሰራር ሰነድ “ ማለት የአዲስ አበባ ከተማ ስራ አስኪያጅ ጽ/ቤት ከማእከል እስከ ወረዳ ባለው የአስተዳደር እርከን የማዘጋጃ ቤታዊ አገልግሎቶችን ከተጠሪ ተቋማትና ባለድርሻ አካላት ጋር ተጠያቂነት ባለው ሁኔታ በቅንጅት ለመስራት የሚያስችል የስምምነት ውል (አሰራር) ሰነድ ማለት ነው። “የተቋማት የቅንጅታዊ አሰራር ፎረም “ ማለት በአዲስ አበባ ከተማ አስተዳደር በማዘጋጃ ቤታዊ አገልግሎት አሰጣጥ ላይ ተቋማት ባለመቀናጀታቸው ምክንያት የተፈጠሩና የሚፈጠሩ ችግሮችን በመቀናጀት ለመፍታትና የማዘጋጃ ቤታዊ አገልግሎትን ለማሳለጥ እንዲያስችል በተዘጋጀው “የተቋማት የቅንጅታዊ አሰራር ሰነድ“ ላይ የተቀመጡ ተግባርና ሃላፊነቶችን ለመፈጸም የተቋቋመ የተጠሪና ባለድርሻ አካላት አደረጃጀት ማለት ነው፡፡.

[Audio] The Addis Ababa City Administration has developed and implemented a comprehensive Emergency Response System in order to ensure the safety of citizens. In accordance with Proclamation No. 74/2014 Article 10/1, the City Administration has acquired emergency response equipment and materials, such as power generators, water pumping units, fire fighting equipment and emergency medical supplies, and have been distributed to the city’s emergency response teams. Moreover, necessary facilities and infrastructure for the functioning of these teams have been built to ensure they are fully operational and ready to respond to any emergency at a moment's notice..

[Audio] The 2013 Operational Plan provides a strategic framework for the successful delivery of Other in the face of challenges. Three key objectives have been identified to ensure Other is carried out in a timely and effective manner: 1) Enhancing the capacity to identify, assess and manage projects and other resources within the framework of established goals; 2) Establishing a comprehensive and responsive approach to project management and oversight; and 3) Using the best available information, policies and guidelines to ensure effective, efficient and timely implementation..

[Audio] The Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo) in the capital city of Addis Ababa have implemented various initiatives to improve the electricity supply and water supply system. Establishing a hotline for inquiries, introducing customer service centers, and launching a regular inspection system for power and water delivery are just some of the schemes that were set in place. To ensure the effectiveness of these initiatives, EEPCo has adopted a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation framework that includes key performance indicators, customer satisfaction surveys, and implementation feedback. This evaluation framework has allowed EEPCo to identify areas of improvement and to make necessary adjustments to further improve its service delivery..

[Audio] The electric grid needs to be organized and developed for it to be secure, efficient and accessible to everyone. This requires implementing strict standards for safety and quality, training personnel for maintenance and repair, and monitoring electricity generation for load balancing and wastage reduction. Tariffs, incentives and subsidies also need to be established to make sure access to electricity is possible. Furthermore, strong institutional and legal frameworks should be put in place to protect consumers and foster fair energy markets..

[Audio] A comprehensive approach to facility and resource management has been developed by our organization, including customized strategies for maintaining and improving assets, anticipating emerging trends, and creating an environment of continual improvement. Key performance indicators have been identified to measure progress in this area. Additionally, international expertise and experience is leveraged to optimize both cost and safety. Sustainability initiatives are recognized for their importance, and green solutions are dedicated to being implemented that are both cost-effective and environmentally friendly. [Audio] Committed to providing quality water and sanitation services to its customers, the Addis Ababa Water and Sewage Agency is leveraging existing infrastructure to ensure the efficient supply of water and sewage services. Additionally, the Agency provides financial, technical, and institutional support to water and sewage utilities to promote equitable access. Further, the Agency is introducing and enforcing safety guidelines to improve the overall quality of water and sanitation services and to promote public health and safety. Additionally, the Agency is fostering efficient use of water resources through cost-effective initiatives. Finally, the Agency is engaging the community to build capacity, raise awareness, and educate around water and sanitation services..

We are able to interact in brand new ways, have tasks streamlined, and become more connected and productive. Enhancing self-esteem and confidence, increasing capacity for positive action, recognizing rights, and speaking out against injustice, are all part of the multi-dimensional process. Overall, empowering individuals means enabling them to take control of their own lives and make decisions that are beneficial to their personal growth and their community..

[Audio] In 2015, the Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority implemented a comprehensive program to bring its service delivery up to international standards. This program developed 3 core competencies and adopted 171 procedures and 138 associated documents..
