You can complete your project as a Word, PowerPoint or video project. Whatever modality you choose to develop your project in, you will need to include discussions of the following areas: 1. Share with readers what your ethical issue is, that is, define it. 2. Discuss your stance, belief, practice on your issue; include why and how you believe this, e.g., upbringing, schooling, culture, religion. 3. Perhaps the most challenging step, explore how or in what ways you can see and understand someone's view that is contrary to your own. 4. Document the sources you use in your project (you can use only class readings or research more if you wish). Feel free to expand on these guidelines and, if you wish to explore your project in another way, discuss this with the instructor..

Writers: Use the reviews and suggestions to guide you as you revise and refine your project. Prompts 1. Open the project. 2. Read the whole project from start to finish. 3. After reading the whole project, do a five-minute freewrite (follow guidelines discussed in class) responding to anything that comes to mind about what you just read; these can be things you like, are confused by, learned, etc. If you prefer to handwrite, this is fine. You will need, however, to take a picture of this and then place it in the document. 4. How effectively does the writer address the ethics topic? 5. Finish off this statement: The writer's project is about ... and includes these examples (list them) to support/clarify the writer's purpose. 6. [Put brackets around all first sentences of all paragraphs.] When finished, ask how clearly these first sentences capture what the paragraph is about. a. Pick three first sentences that could be clearer and rewrite them. b. Pick a paragraph where the examples are disjointed or unclear, per how well they support the first sentence, and revise them so they more clearly support the paragraph's controlling idea (first sentence). Note: depending on the paragraph, you also might have to rework the first sentence to clearly set up the supporting ideas. 7. At the end of the project, give the writer three suggestions to work on between now and the next draft. 8. At the top of the project, list three qualities you like about it..

Your presentation for this project asks that you sit with a quarter of the class (assigned ahead of time) in a circle and informally share what you explored, learned, and wish your classmates learn from your project. You will have 6 minutes each time. 2. Once you finish each presentation, your classmates will have 4 minutes to ask you questions. Each of the two groups listening to you will use a rubric to assess your project and presentation. We will use your classmates' assessment (and their vote) to determine a best of group, e.g., we will have a best from Presentation Day 1, and another for Presentation Day 2. Each winner will receive three extra points and a Coffee Bean gift card..
