SWOT Analysis. STRENGTHS T he program had lessen the number of non-readers and caters the need of learners in developing their reading habits and skills.

This intervention did not wholly eradicate the reading problem of our learners but lessen the number of those who have comprehension difficulties, lack in vocabulary and in word recognition. It also helps learners to enhance both productive (Speaking and writing) and receptive skills (reading and listening) and develop literacy which will enables them to become critical thinkers in expressing their ideas..

To support literacy development, synergized school partnership with the SANHS English Department Teachers and community efforts including parents, learners and stakeholders paved way to the successful conduct of the school initiated program “COVID-RI: Comprehension Outcome Via Intensive Delivery of Reading Instruction”..
