Future Targetted Training Approach. We have a well-planned future approach towards skilling the needy youth, women, and their exposure toward traditional arts and crafts in Rajasthan. We will provide them placement in related organizations through a robust mechanism by its dedicated in house professionals and through different channels. The major approach would be Skill Development, Training and Capacity Building towards expanding the livelihood options and awareness program for enhancing different career avenues for them. The Project shall be implemented keeping in context various parameters, innovative trades adopted and the target beneficiaries to be covered..

Sakhi -Jo Samjhe Mann ki Baat. Sakhi is a counselling center run by Door Drishti for women. Who are victim of Harassment, Domestic Violence, Injustice, Molestation and Torture . Who are seeking legal Aid for their problems and need protection. Moral, legal and financial help will be provided to the women, victims of social evils/taboos so that they can face the situation firmly and get justice. To make women, girls, and adolescent girls aware of their rights and develop organization and leadership capacity in them. To train/ Skill women, girls, and adolescents girls in different directions/fields and help them to get employment or start their own business so that they can become financially independent and lead a fulfilling life Help them to arrange finance if they want to start their own business according to their skill..

Health Care & India. India has made rapid strides in the health sector since independence. However, various eye opening data from NFHS clearly indicate that access to healthcare still remains a challenge. While the health statistics of rural India continue to be poor, the health status and access to health for the poor in urban slum dwellers has surfaced to be equally deplorable and have less than 4% of government primary healthcare facilities. Urban slum dwellers suffer from adverse health conditions owing to mainly two reasons –first the lack of education and thus lack of awareness; and second the unwillingness to lose a day’s wage in order to reach the nearest medical facility. Healthcare for underprivileged, which is a desperate need, thus remains unaddressed. The need of the hour is thus a two pronged approach – first to bring quality healthcare services to doorsteps of the needy and second to promote healthcare awareness and contemporary healthcare seeking behavior among the underprivileged. In such a scenario a mobile healthcare services delivery system is the most practical mechanism. And in subscription to this view, Smile Foundation has initiated the Smile on Wheels programme. This is a unique mobile hospital programme that seeks to address problems of mobility, accessibility and availability of primary healthcare with a special focus on children and women, in urban slums and remote rural areas. The Door Drishti on Wheels & Regular programme has so far provided free healthcare services to many children and families..
