[Audio] Hello everyone. Today, I'm excited to talk about 'Cultivating Prosperity,' a project proposal for our class aimed at Sustainable Development Goal 2, which is about ending hunger. Specifically, we're looking at Target 2.3. Our goal here is to figure out a way to help small-scale farmers double what they can produce and earn by 2030. My idea is to empower these farmers so they can grow more, earn better, and support their communities—making farming today ready for tomorrow. Let's explore how..

[Audio] I propose we start the Harvest Growth Initiative, or HGI. This is a program that brings together training, quality seeds, and new technologies. We'll introduce a digital marketplace, called Agri-Link, where farmers can sell their crops easily. HGI will also help farmers with small loans and insurance. This is all about giving farmers what they need to move from just getting by to truly prospering..

[Audio] Our plan includes teaching farmers with workshops on farming that's good for the environment. We'll get them better seeds and tools to improve their farms. We'll develop an app called 'Agri-Link' to help them reach the market directly. Plus, we're thinking about how to help them stay safe with money matters through loans and insurance. It's about setting them up for long-term success..

[Audio] Our proposed program needs funding to start—money for buying equipment and building the Agri-Link tech platform. We'll also have ongoing costs like paying instructors and maintaining the platform. This slide gives you an idea of the resources we're talking about to make HGI a reality..

[Audio] We're aiming for real change. Our hope is that the farmers involved will see a 50% jump in their output and earnings within the first five years. Using 'Agri-Link', they can get better deals for their goods. We'll check in frequently with data, like how much is grown and how much more money the farmers are making to keep us on the right path..

[Audio] With HGI, we aim to do more than just help farmers. We want to secure food for people everywhere, make families more financially stable, and help reduce poverty. It's amazing what can happen when you give small farmers a bit of support..

[Audio] How will we know we're succeeding? For starters, we'll track how much the farmers are growing and earning. We also want to make sure 'Agri-Link' is really being used, and most importantly, we want to hear from the farmers themselves so we can keep improving..

[Audio] In this project, we are looking to you, my classmates, for support. It could be sharing this idea, helping to brainstorm more details, or thinking about how we can truly make an impact. With this kind of collaboration, we can turn our proposal into action..
