Background, Santo Tomas National High School    The Baseline Data on Learners and Personnel for school year 2019-2020 is based from the Enhanced Basic Education Information System (EBEIS)     Data on School Building and Classrooms is in accordance with the National School Building Inventory NSBI.

This 2021 to 2022 Contingency Plan covers Santo Tomas National High School  with school IDs 305270 for Junior High School and 340054 for Senior High, in the Baguio City Division of Department of Education in Cordillera Administrative Region of the Philippines. It focuses on the Natural Earthquake and Fire Hazards and its Impact Hazards such as Heavy Rainfall and School ground Soil Erosion/ School Structural Collapse.

Objective of the Contingency Plan 	The objective is to prepare the School and its constituents for Natural Fire and Earthquake Hazards and their respective immediate Hazards such as School Ground Soil Erosion / School Structural Collapse that could be Man-Made Hazards due to sub-standard structural flows.

The low lying area of the school is susceptible to erosion. While substandard building structures of the building is prone to collapse. These happen during rainy or typhoon days. Mitigation happens with the strong support of the PTA and Partners thru the spirit of  Brigada . MOOE, City fund and partners' donation and even the 10 percent back job of the newly built building provide the budget in the implementation of the needed repairs.
