[Audio] Good evening to all of you. As you are aware the Univeristy of Colombo, Faculty of Medicine celebrateds 152 years since its establishment this year. It has magnificent buildings..

[Audio] Starting with the Anatomy Block.. Anatomy Block.

[Audio] opened in 1913.. 1913.

[Audio] And the Admintration, Pathology and Physiology Complex..

[Audio] opened in the 1940s. et'.ö.'.

[Audio] This year we enjoy the opening of the UCFM Tower..

[Audio] The Magnificent highrise buidling of the Faculty..

[Audio] Housing the Medical Lirbary, Six Academic Departments..

[Audio] The University of Colombo Health System. UNIVERISTY OF COLOMBO HEALTH SYSTEM.

[Audio] And conference and recreational facilities.

[Audio] With a 360 degree panoramic view of the Colombo city from the roof top restaurant on the 14th floor..

[Audio] The UCFM Tower was buit with a loan from the Bank of Ceylon..

[Audio] We are now in the process of establishing the clinical centres that form the University of Colombo Health System. The financial crisis has delayed the establishment of these centres as the government is unable to finance them anymore. We look forward to your generous contribution to make this equip and commence the operation of these clinical centres..
