[Audio] We are honored to have Professor Dinesh Chhetri from the UCLA School of Medicine lead the Introduction to International and National Faculty at the 4th VOICE- CON & AIRWAY COURSE 2023, hosted by the Sushrut Institute of Plastic Surgery & Super Speciality Hospital in Lucknow. Professor Chhetri is a renowned laryngologist, an expert in voice disorders, swallowing disorders, and upper airway disorders. His thesis on vocal fold paralysis and laryngeal reinnervation has been widely acclaimed, and his numerous publications have discussed topics such as vocal cord growths, professional voice users, Zenker's diverticulum and laser surgery. He is also certified in Transoral Robotic Surgery (TORS) and serves as Vice-Chair of the Department of Head and Neck Surgery, Director of the Swallowing Disorders Program, and Co-director of the UCLA Voice Center/ Laryngology Program. To top it all off, Prof Chhetri is the President of the American Laryngological Association. [Audio] We are thrilled to have Professor Giorgio Peretti MD, PhD, from Genoa, Italy, join our faculty for the 4th VOICE - CON & AIRWAY COURSE 2023. Professor Peretti is the Professor Director and CF of Otorhinolaryngology at the University of Genova's Medical and Postgraduate Schools. He has had a long and extensive career in clinical research, having published in several esteemed national and international journals, authored 42 book chapters, and presented at 218 congress and symposium-related events. [Audio] Prof Yo Kishimoto is an esteemed award-winning researcher in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University. With more than 80 publications in National and International Journals, he has also authored two reviews and two book chapters, and has delivered talks across the International and National stages. Currently, he is a Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator on a number of projects related to Laryngology. [Audio] Dr. Nupur Kapoor Nerurkar is a highly accomplished consultant laryngologist and head at the Bombay Hospital Voice and Swallowing Centre, DNB Cordinator for ENT and Fellowship Director in Laryngology. She has a long and impressive career, having served as a lecturer for 6 years and an Associate Professor for 5 years at Sion Hospital. Her noteworthy achievements include being the past President of the Association of Phonosurgeons of India from 2013 to 2016, establishing the Bombay Hospital Voice and Swallowing Department in 2018, becoming the first and currently only Indian Laryngologist to become a Fellow of The American Laryngological Association and Broncho Esophagological Association, and being the Chief Editor of the Textbook of Laryngology and author of the Atlas of Phonomicrosurgery. Dr. Nerurkar has also been the recipient of numerous awards, such as the Hargobind Fellowship Award for Laryngology Training in the US, the Junior Consultant Award Gold Medal, the First Prize in the Jaiswal Video Session at AOI in Hyderabad in 2005, the Third Prize in the Senior Consultant Award at AOI in Bhubaneshvar in 2007, and the David Howard Prize by the British Laryngology Association. Additionally, she serves as an Associate Editor of the LPV and has over 100 publications and book chapters, as well as over 300 international and national presentations. [Audio] We are delighted to welcome Dr Sanjay Subbaiah to our National Faculty for this year's 4th Voice-Con & Airway Course. He boasts a MS in ENT and a Fellowship in PhonoSurgery from The Association of Phonosurgeons of India, and has served for over a decade as Assistant Professor in K I M S, Bangalore. His Voice & Swallowing Clinic in Bangalore has focussed on professional voice users and neurological voice disorders, and he has developed several injection procedures, voice therapy techniques and laryngeal manipulation techniques. He is also a trained Level 2 TOMATIS practitioner, and has won several awards for his work, including Best Paper awards at the 26th All India Rhinology Society Conference 2003 and the 10th Association of Phonosurgeons of India Conference 2014. Furthermore, Dr Subbaiah has presented papers at numerous national and international conferences, and has published articles in many journals. He has also been a faculty in several professional voice care seminars and workshops, and recently presented a poster titled "Tomatis Auditory Stimulation as an Adjuvant Therapy in Refractory MTD" at The Fall Voice Conference in San Francisco. Our International Faculty is Dr. Shashidhar TB, a Consultant ENT Surgeon and Head at Artemis Hospital in Gurugram. With qualifications from Madras Medical College and Lady Hardinge Medical College and a range of awards and accolades, his research focuses on 3-D Printing and AI in Laryngology Practice.
