[Audio] We are delighted to have Professor Dinesh Chhetri, an esteemed specialist in Head and Neck Surgery and Laryngology from UCLA School of Medicine, join us at the 4th VOICE-CON & AIRWAY COURSE 2023 at Sushrut Institute of Plastic Surgery & Super Speciality Hospital in Lucknow. Professor Chhetri is an accomplished author and has published over 100 publications in the fields of voice, swallowing, and upper airway-related disorders. His expertise covers a wide range of topics, with expertise in treating vocal cord growths, professional voice users, vocal cord paralysis, laryngeal and tracheal stenosis, cricopharyngeal achalasia, and Zenker's diverticulum, as well as tracheal resection, cricotracheal resection and laser surgery. He is renowned as an international authority on swallowing disorders and is certified in Transoral Robotic Surgery (TORS) for head and neck cancer. Professor Chhetri is the Vice-Chair of the UCLA Department of Head and Neck Surgery, Director of the UCLA Swallowing Disorders Program and the UCLA Head and Neck Cancer Survivorship Program, and co-director of the UCLA Voice Center / Laryngology program. [Audio] We are delighted to welcome Professor Giorgio Peretti, a renowned specialist in Otorhinolaryngology, to the 4th Voice-Con & Airway Course 2023 event at the Sushrut Institute of Plastic Surgery and Super Specialty Hospital in Lucknow. Professor Peretti currently serves as Professor Director and CF of Otorhinolaryngology at the University of Genova’s Medical and Postgraduate Schools and the Director of Otorhinolaryngology at Genova’s San Martino University Hospital. Since 1986, his contributions to the field of Otorhinolaryngology have been vast; he has specialized in laryngology, phonosurgery, and the diagnosis and treatment of both benign and neoplastic tracheal diseases, as well as developing and improving the CO2 laser-based diagnosis and endoscopic treatment of laryngeal cancer. In addition, he has played a crucial role in the definition and testing of groundbreaking surgical tools and instruments for novel phonosurgical techniques. For his many accomplishments, Professor Peretti was appointed Past President and Scientific Councilor to the European Laryngological Society..

[Audio] Introducing Professor Yo Kishimoto from Japan, an Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, at the Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University. He has been recognized by the American Laryngological Association, the American Broncho-Esophagological Association, and received two Reviewer Awards from Auris Nasus Larynx. Professor Kishimoto has 80+ national and international publications, two reviews, and two book chapters. He has also delivered invited talks at various international and national levels, and is currently a principal investigator and co-investigator on several laryngology research projects..

[Audio] Dr. Sanjay Subbaiah is a highly qualified and experienced doctor with an MS in ENT from Bangalore. He has a Graduate and Post-Graduate degree from the same university and has served as an Assistant Professor at K I M S Bangalore from 2000 to 2008. He has also received a fellowship in PhonoSurgery from The Association of Phonosurgeons of India and has been a Visiting NeuroLaryngologist for NIMHANS, Bangalore. His areas of expertise include professional Voice User, Injection Procedures on Larynx, various types of Neurological Voice Disorder, Voice Therapy, and Laryngeal Manipulation techniques, and he is certified Level 2 TOMATIS practitioner. He has received the Best Paper Award at the 26th All India Rhinology Society Conference 2003 and 10th Association of Phonosurgeons of India Conference 2014. He has presented papers and published articles in National and International journals, and has been a Faculty in various Professional voice care seminars & and workshops, and have conducted numerous Swallowing Workshops. His work was included in the text book of Laryngology published by the Association of Phonosurgeons of India and he also presented a Poster at The Fall Voice Conference, San Francisco, USA in October 2022. [Audio] Without greetings, without beginning with Today, and without thanks: Introducing our international and national faculty and their expertise, beginning with our international faculty, we have Dr. Shashidhar TB, a consultant ENT surgeon and Head of Artemis Hospital in Gurugram. He is a graduate from Madras Medical College and a post graduate from Lady Hardinge Medical College. Dr. Shashidhar TB has achieved several awards in the field of Airway, including the 1st Prize in tracheoplasty with LTR combined for whole-length trachea in India in 2015, Consultant Award in LVA conference, and Best Paper Award in International Pediatric Otolaryngology Conference in 2010 in Hyderabad, India. His current research focuses on 3-D Printing and AI in Laryngology Practice. At the event, he will be talking about Coblation in Airway Surgery. As the last slide indicated, Dr. Soumitra Ghosh is an Associate Professor at Vivekananda Institute of Medical Sciences, Kolkata. He is also a Consultant at AMRI Hospitals and Genesis Hospital, Kolkata. His areas of interest include airway reconstruction surgery, phonosurgery, and transgender voice surgery. He has been the recipient of several awards such as the Major K K Ghosh Award, the P A Shah Junior Consultant award, the Dr Shantanu Banerjee Best Video award, and the Prof. B K Roychaudhuri Award. Additionally, he is the author of many national publications and three books on subjects including temporal bone dissection, endoscopic sinus surgery dissection, and tips for head-neck surgery. In addition, he has also contributed a chapter on stroboscopy, high speed imaging, videokymography, and optical coherence tomography in the official publication of the Association of Phonosurgeons of India.
