CH 3 THE LITTLE GIRL

[Audio] Today we will study about the chapter 3 the little girl by kathreine Mansfield.

[Audio] Title and theme The title of the story refers to the main character that will come across a little girl. Her name is Kezia and The theme of the story is representing the relation between children and parents and the writer wants to tell us that children a share a very important bond of love with their parents.

[Audio] About- Kezia was a little girl . She was scared from her father . She thought that her father was like giant because his father has big hands, big neck ,big face . She always avoided his father . She thought his father was very cruel Kezia father worked in a office. He went to an office in the morning . Before going, he went to the Kezia room and gave her a casual kiss . Then his father went to office in a carriage . She felt comfortable and happy when her father is gone.

[Audio] In the evening when her father come back . He spoke loudly in house. Kezia don't like her father loud house. Her mother would ask her to go and take off his father shoes and when she enter her father room his father look at her sternly. Kezia though that her father was not a good person or hard-hearted person.

[Audio] Kezia on her father birthday- One day Kezia made a pin-cushion . She wanted to give her father on his birthday . She need paper to stuff the pin cushion . She found some sheet of paper in her father room. She tears the sheet to stuff the pin-cushion. Her father written an important speech on that paper. When her father get she teared that paper , her father was very angry with her even his father take a stick and beat her severely . Her father told her to do not touch his belongings . Kezia show strong negative emotion and she start thinking that why god made fathers . Now she is more scared from his father.

[Audio] What Kezia Think about his father One day, Kezia saw her neighbour, Mr. MacDonals. He was playing with his children . His children looked very happy . But kezia father never played with her. Now she thought that there is different kind of father in this world . She think his own father was cruel.

[Audio] Kezia mother got ill- After the few days the Kezia mother got ill. Her grand mother take her to hospital. Kezia was all alone in the house with the nurse . She had to sleep alone in her bedroom. At night, Kezia has a horrible dream that. She saw that a botcher with a knife . She was terrified . She gave a loud cry. Her father come into her room. He lifted her and took her to his bed. She was sleeping beside his father.

[Audio] Kazia realised what she done Kezia father was tired so he fell asleep before her. Kezia was lost in thoughts. She tought that his father had to work every day hard and her father come in the evening and his father was too tired so he cant paly with Kazia . She realised that it was her fault to tear those important papers She realised that her father was not bad . He has big and king loving heart..

[Audio] Moral of the story- WE SHOULD NEVER JUDGE A PERSON BY HIS/HER OUTER APPEARANCES INSTEAD WE SHOULD FOCOUS ON THEIR INNEAR HEART.
