[Audio] The extent of compliance for the recommendations from the previous visit for the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Program in Area 8, the Physical Plant and Facilities..

[Audio] Recommendation number one. Evaluation of student center utilization is recommended..

[Audio] The student center is located just in front of the College of Engineering building..

[Audio] It has been utilized to cater the conduct of meetings and various activities of different organizations of the College, even before the onslaught of the COVID- 19 pandemic..

[Audio] The first recommendation is 100% complied..

[Audio] Recommendation number two. If budget warrants, ramps leading to the second and third floor of the engineering building may be constructed to facilitate mobility of PWD's..

[Audio] Construction of the ramp has already been considered in the annual procurement plan since 2019, with the various repairs amounting to three hundred thousand pesos..

[Audio] The second recommendation is 100% complied..

[Audio] Recommendation number three. Suitable toilet facilities accessible to PWD's without requiring assistance maybe designed and constructed..

[Audio] The buildings in the university have toilets for PWD's already especially those that are newly constructed,.

[Audio] like the SSU Convention Center and Research Innovation Center..

[Audio] The third recommendation is 100% complied..

[Audio] Recommendation number four. Installing and utilizing appropriate flooring and cleaning materials to prevent the risks of slips among employees and students may be considered..

[Audio] Provision of cleaning materials had already been made and floorings had already been repaired to avoid slips and accidents while walking..

[Audio] The fourth recommendation is 100% complied..

[Audio] Recommendation number five. If budget warrants, the canteen may be expanded to accommodate the growing population of the university..

[Audio] The construction of the new food court, which is larger than the existing canteen, is already indicated in the Future Development Plan of the university..

[Audio] The fifth recommendation is 100% complied..

[Audio] Recommendation number 6. Signages indicating emergency exits in cases of fire and earthquakes may be posted in a conspicuous place of the building..

[Audio] Signages are posted on the emergency exits..

[Audio] And there are also evacuation plans on strategic places of the building..

[Audio] The sixth recommendation is 100% complied..

[Audio] Recommendation number 7. The exhaust fan may be repaired and proper ventilation is needed in order not to add humidity in the area..

[Audio] Exhaust fan in the canteen had already been repaired by the electrical maintenance..

[Audio] And there is an additional ventilation installed in the area..

[Audio] The seventh recommendation is 100% complied..

[Audio] Recommendation number eight. Classrooms occupied by teachers may be made spacious and clean, therefore excess cabinets and dividers may be placed in another room or place..

[Audio] Cabinets and dividers in the faculty room were already used to have an organized arrangement and the cleanliness of classrooms are maintained..

[Audio] The eighth recommendation is 100% complied..

[Audio] Recommendation number nine. There is a need to further continue repairing the classrooms to provide two exit doors that open outward..

[Audio] The classrooms in the Engineering Building have two exit doors already, with outward openings..

[Audio] The ninth recommendation is 100% complied..

[Audio] Recommendation number ten. Unified storage for athletic equipment may be put in place..

[Audio] There is an existing athletic equipment storage and the plan of the construction for the unified storage of athletic equipment will be considered in LUDIP in the university..

[Audio] Recommendation number 11. Provision of covered walks may be considered especially from the guard house to the other buildings..

[Audio] The covered walks from the guard house is already constructed..

[Audio] The eleventh recommendation is 100% complied..

[Audio] Recommendation number 12. Stockrooms may be regularly checked to remove the materials that are considered waste like plastics, among others..

[Audio] Waste materials inside the store rooms had already been disposed and those that could still be recycled were properly arranged..

[Audio] The twelfth recommendation is 100% complied..

[Audio] Recommendation number thirteen. The fire extinguishers may contain information cards that reflect the regular monitoring of the same..

[Audio] The fire extinguishers in the rooms and/or offices have already been attached with respective monitoring card for fire safety compliance..
