PARAGRAPH 1. .. Eid Al- Fitr Eid al- Fitr , 'Feast of Breaking the Fast', is the earlier of the two official holidays celebrated within Islam (the other being Eid al- Adha ). Eid a l Fitr is commemorated on the opening day of the Shawwal month and Muslims across the world.
