True to its name, 'Pag-asa,' which means 'hope', our barangay stands as a symbol of unity, resilience, and progress. With dedicated leaders and active citizens, Barangay Pag-asa continues to grow while nurturing a strong sense of community and shared responsibility. [Audio] The history of Barangay Pag-asa began in 1986 when it was formally established through Ordinance Number 2, Series of 1986, signifying its recognition as an independent barangay in Binangonan, Rizal.

This relatively low elevation and its proximity to Laguna de Bay suggest that the area is situated in the lowland plains of Binangonan, Rizal. Lowland areas are typically flatter and closer to bodies of water, which fits the geographic profile of Barangay Pag-asa..
