• All parents do their best to ensure that the child has the best possible childhood and a peaceful life, but not only the material part but also the harmonious development on all levels.

• More and more parents are deciding lately to go abroad to work to give their children a better life, a life in which deprivation has no place. But should it be so? Maybe from a material point of view working abroad and earning better than here can cover some needs and desires of the little ones, but from an emotional point of view with their departure the parents leave a huge void in the children's souls.

•  Protection and education for children affected by migration for work abroad Save the Children Romania has been running, since 2010, a complex program for the protection and education of children left alone at home as a result of their parents leaving for work abroad. The program was developed based on the recommendations made in the research "Impact of parental migration on children left at home", conducted by Save the Children, which highlighted the impact of parental departure on the good development of children and their needs during lack of parental care.

• The purpose of the program is to help children left alone at home, but also parents or caregivers of children to overcome this crisis period, by developing services for them (direct intervention and telephone and online counseling) and through efforts to improve law enforcement.

The interventions of the program are structured within two main components: direct intervention services for children and families and information and counseling services.

Some families. • Beyond the efforts of such organizations, there are girls and boys who live by the stories told by grandparents. There are stories that help them because they are magical, full of love and close to their parents, because grandparents talk softly about beautiful clothes and interesting toys or about gadgets that can only be bought by working abroad in some families..

Then everything becomes easier, life is happier, colleagues are friendlier. The distances become shorter, because they can communicate with their parents through skips or video cameras, through direct transmissions of any kind.

For the integration of children with departed parents, one solution is to do their homework in collaboration with colleagues with very good results in school. They may become more organized, more disciplined, more persevering, they will want to be among the best. They will have children and they will be happier!.
