BETHLEHEM PRIMARY SCHOOL The glorious Bethlehem Primary School was built as a symbol of truth and mercy at the site where Marian, the queen of the mountains, was slain in Udhagamandalam. It was approved by District Education on 14th January 1939. Initially the school started with kindergarten and then it grew into primary school and then into middle school and got 100% in E.S.L.C Exams. It was converted into elder’s school in 1957. Again, the school was converted back to a primary school in view of the growth of Bethlehem High school. The total area of the school is 4783sq.ft. The school play ground is 13.623sq.ft. The school garden is 4314sq.ft. The school has all facilities including separate classrooms, kitchen, large hall. Electricity facility and drinking water facility and toilet facility are also good. All religious festivals (Christmas, Diwali, Ramzan) are well celebrated in the school as students of all religious study in this school. All national festivals (Independence Day, Republic Day, Children’s Day, Teachers Day) All learning and teaching methods introduced by government are well followed by the school.
