commemorated the
anniversary of the death
of our patriotic hero,
José de San Martin

Scene 2

He was born on   25th  February 1778,  in Yapeyú  ( Corrientes )

He created the “Ejército Liberador”  and crossed the Andes mountain range  with them.

Our  National Hero  liberated  Argentina, Perú and Chile, which were under Spanish rule.

José de San Martín was married to Remedios de Escalada, and together they had a daughter, MERCEDITAS.

He loved her so much that he wrote some MAXIMS for her...

Inspire you love for the fatherland and freedom.

Inspire you to love the truth and hate to lie.

Humanize the character and make it sensitive even with insects

Stimulate in Mercedes charity to the poor. .

Today we congratulate some courses who wore their ROSETTES last May, to show how proud they were of being PATRIOTIC, just like San Martín did.
