According to a study, the incidence rate of occupational injury in the philippinesis 4.27%, which means that are around 4 cases of occupational injuries with workdays lost per 100 workers . In 2009, there were approximately 17.5 thousands non-fatal cases of occupational injuries in the Philippines, The severity rate of occupational injuries with the workdays lost in the Philippines was around 7.61 per million employee-hours of exposure in 2019..
