In little more than a decade, the impact of social media has gone from being an entertaining extra to a fully integrated part of nearly every aspect of daily life for many. People in the old days will chat together while having meeting with friends or family because there are no social media. After having social media, they will just busy playing their phones and go onto the social media while having meeting with friends or family. When social media still haven't exist, people that walk on street paid lots of attention to avoid accidents. People only looks at phones and concentrate on their social media and are not paying attention to the traffic lights. This may cause a serious accident just like the woman in the picture. Negative impacts. While social media is sometimes touted to combat loneliness, a significant body of research suggests it may have the opposite effect. By triggering comparison with others, it can raise doubts about self-worth, potentially leading to mental health issues such as anxiety and depression . It also create a kind of differentiation between people as some of them are using extremely expensive products and wear extremely expensive clothes which leads people with cheaper clothes getting less likes and views . This results in low self esteem . Also there is a lot of rascism ,cyberbullying and body shaming on social media and people lose hopes in their abilities . Social can also be a reason of person of being areested.
