Scene 2 (5s)

[Audio] As they become more physically capable children should be pushed to go beyond simply standing and walking on even floors. Through individual or collective activities geared to take them out of their comfort level and regular activities young ones can gain more strength and balance that allow them to stand and traverse uneven surfaces. This gives them a greater sense of self-assurance fuels their imagination and lets them experience the satisfaction of accomplishment. By collaborating and providing support to one another we can assist each other to develop..

Scene 3 (38s)

[Audio] Grab your fish and stand in the circle! The goal of this activity is to help kids become more comfortable with standing on their tiptoes. To begin they will tiptoe and try to place the fish onto the hook. While it may be a tough task with proper guidance and practice they should be able to reach the overhead item at home within 3 months. Let's get started!.

Scene 4 (59s)

[Audio] Physical activity plays an essential role in the growth and development of children. An important part of this is enabling them to complete tasks by themselves. Taking part in activities like standing against a wall to remain balanced or moving their body from side to side while on their toes can help those with weaker physical abilities. These activities can both be done solo or with others not only giving the children increased physical capabilities but also helping them to socialise and interact better with others..

Scene 5 (1m 32s)

[Audio] If the task is found to be difficult for kids there is an option to make it easier. The fishing hook can be lowered by 5 centimeters so that the task can be more easily achieved. This allows even those with weaker standing balance to have the opportunity to have an enjoyable experience on uneven surfaces..

Scene 6 (1m 53s)

[Audio] Physical therapists can support kids in improving their balance in a number of ways. Arm or wall support can help a child maintain balance and prevent them from falling. The physical therapist can also grab the kid's shirt or sleeve to help create a safe and effective environment for the kid. This support helps the kids foster their balance while on uneven surfaces and helps them ultimately improve their standing balance..

Scene 7 (2m 19s)

[Audio] The kids can improve their ability standing on their tiptoes by gradually building up the amount of time they do it starting with five seconds and then working up to ten fifteen and so on. This will help them build strength and balance as they become better over time..

Scene 8 (2m 35s)

[Audio] Our program has a dual goal: to train standing balance on uneven surfaces and to promote social interaction among kids. Through practice and repetition children are able to stay balanced on irregular terrain for extended periods of time while also enhancing their social skills with other children. Our program focuses on both physical and social development providing equal emphasis to each component. By participating in our program kids acquire beneficial habits gain increased physical confidence and form positive relationships with peers..

Scene 9 (3m 10s)

[Audio] For those relatively new to the game it is important to provide guidance and extra support on the wobble disk. Pay extra attention to those with weaker balancing ability as they may have more difficulty controlling the swaying motion and could be at risk of falling. Additionally ensure they understand that hitting the balloon with their hands is allowed and can be part of the game..

Scene 10 (3m 35s)

[Audio] Our program focuses on striking a balance between safety and gaining the desired training effect. We strive to ensure that the kids feel safe yet can reap the most benefit from the activity. In order to ensure this we will provide our staff with the education and skills necessary to help the kids improve their balance and reach their goals..

Scene 11 (3m 55s)

[Audio] In the last part of our plan we review the outcome of our activities. We use a sensory multi-level system to make sure to test and further improve the kids' balancing capability. This system consists of a series of simple tasks like saying numbers out loud and lightly thumping the bottom of the foot to give more sensory stimulus. Our findings demonstrate that some of the children have had a minor betterment in their balancing capacity since our last visit two days ago..

Scene 12 (4m 24s)

[Audio] At the end of this presentation I would like to thank you for your time. We discussed various ways to provide physical activities for kids to improve their balance on uneven surfaces and also to foster social bonding. Our goals included giving the kids a signal when the class has finished cooling them down rewarding good performance and motivating them to come back for the next class. I hope this has been a useful presentation and thank you again for your time..
