[Audio] We develop a technology for cross-linking collagen molecules using UV irradiation and a photosensitizer for the treatment of ophthalmopathy in the field of ophthalmocluster. We also create a new line of Alloplant ® medical products for reconstructive surgery in various areas, including ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology, surgery, and cardiac surgery. Our scientific supervisor in this field is Professor Julia Kzhyshkowska. In bioengineering, we focus on personalized medicine technologies, such as bioengineered cornea, bioengineered intestine, biomedical implants made of domestic materials, and new materials based on Alloplant ®. These events provide an opportunity for us to share our expertise and contribute to the global advancement of urology..

Our team was led by Rector Valentin Pavlov, who co-chaired the section on the interaction of foreign surfaces with cells. During the conference, Rector Pavlov delivered a report on the use of biomaterials derived from decellularized extracellular matrix in regenerative medicine. This was an excellent opportunity for our university to showcase our research and expertise in the field of clinical hemorheology and microcirculation. The delegation was led by the rector, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Pavlov V N , and included the deputy director of the Institute of Urology and Clinical Oncology, doc. Kutliyarov L M , the head of the International Department Abdrakhimov R V , a resident in the Urology Department Sabirzyanov Sabir, and a student from the 5th year of the Pediatric Faculty Nadezhdina Ekaterina. [Audio] Our team recently participated in the 10th anniversary conference of the Russian-Chinese Association of Medical Universities (R-C-A-M-U) which took place in Guangzhou, China from July 4th to July 9th, 2024..

[Audio] 800 plus international students from 60 plus countries worked in healthcare facilities during the academic year. These students made a valuable contribution to the fight against COVID-19. We support cultural diversity and encourage staff to participate in exchange programs. With over 25 teachers taking part, we are committed to fostering cultural exchange. The university also offers language courses in English, allowing students to immerse themselves in Russian culture. In 2023, 89 students received Russian citizenship and over 667 students received a temporary residence permit. We welcome over 1500 participants annually..
