THIS HYPOTHESIS PROPOSES THAT CULTURAL DIVERSITY, LANGUAGE BARRIERS, AND SOCIAL INTEGRATION SIGNIFICANTLY INFLUENCE THE EXPERIENCES AND CHALLENGES ENCOUNTERED BY INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS. SECONDARY HYPOTHESIS H0 (NUL HYPOTHESIS): LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY DOES NOT SIGNIFICANTLY AFFECT THE OVERALL WELL-BEING AND MENTAL HEALTH OF INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS IN CANADA. THIS HYPOTHESIS SUGGESTS THAT LANGUAGE BARRIERS AND PROFICIENCY LEVELS DO NOT HAVE A SUBSTANTIAL IMPACT ON MENTAL HEALTH OUTCOMES SUCH AS STRESS, ANXIETY, AND DEPRESSION. H1 (ALTERNATE HYPOTHESIS): INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS WITH HIGHER LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY EXPERIENCE BETTER MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OUTCOMES.
