The Reskilling of RO or SDO Program Owners and Key Personnel on the PMIS Major Processes and Accountability per Governance was successfully held in two clusters at the NEAP Hall, DepEd ROV, Legazpi City. Cluster A took place from November 20-22, 2024, and Cluster B from December 4-6, 2024, with active participation from key personnel across SDOs in Albay, Legazpi City, Ligao City, Tabaco City, Catanduanes, Sorsogon City, Sorsogon, Masbate, and Masbate City, along with the Regional Office Proper. The training aimed to enhance the participants' knowledge and skills in managing the Program Monitoring and Information System (PMIS) and understanding their roles and responsibilities within the governance structure. Participants included Chiefs of CID and SGOD, Senior Education Program Specialists (SEPSs) for SMME, Planning and Research, Social Mobilization, and HRD, along with Planning Officers, Budget Officers, Accountants, SBFP/DRRM Focal Persons, BAC Secretariats, Supply Officers, and PMIS Operating Unit Users from CID, SGOD, and OSDS. A quarterly REBUZZ at Department of Education Regional Office V activity was conducted effectively, providing a platform to share research findings and insights. To support researchers, technical assistance was provided through online progress monitoring, allowing for timely guidance and feedback. Additionally, a capacity-building session was held to enhance researchers’ skills in writing quality research papers. This training aimed to improve research output and overall performance. Another major achievement was the successful selection of CY 2025 BERF grantees, ensuring deserving researchers receive funding. This event aimed to provide participants with comprehensive guidance on the processes and requirements for the NSBI and BEIS data collection for the current school year. The orientation was attended by Division Planning Officers, School Heads, LIS, BEIS, and NSBI Coordinators, as well as teachers, who were actively engaged in the session.
