[Virtual Presenter] This meeting was a momentous occasion to celebrate the four-year partnership between the NBA and DCT Abu Dhabi for the NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2023 series. In attendance, was H H Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, alongside National Basketball Association (NBA) Deputy Commissioner and COO Mark Tatum, and NBA players in Abu Dhabi. Representing DCT Abu Dhabi were Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak and Saood Abdulaziz Al Hosani, Chairman and Under-Secretary of the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, who discussed further opportunities for collaboration. This partnership is one that focuses on youth engagement and development, through initiatives like the Jr NBA Abu Dhabi League. This year, the league engaged 900 players from the emirate’s schools, giving them the chance to learn from world-leading talent and expertise. Last year’s NBA Abu Dhabi Games at Etihad Arena was a great success, and this year’s series presents a unique opportunity for Abu Dhabi to come together to witness an amazing show of international talent and an event full of culture..
