NELSON ROLHLAHLA MANDELA,also Known as madiba was born on july 18, 1918,in Mvezo, South Africa.He studied law at the University of Witwatersrand before working as a lawyer in Johannesburg.There he became involved in anti-colonial and African nationalist politics,joining the ANC in1943..

1. The explorers. European exploration of African coast began in the 13th century when Portugal sought an alternative route to the silk road to China.Later,Dutch East India Company established a trading Post in cape Town.In,1795 British took the cape over from Dutch.Seven years later the colony to come under British rule again in 1806. The discovery of diamonds and gold encouraged the European countries to conquer South Africa. Later,the British returned in great number but the Boer(the farmers of Dutch).However the South Africa was defeated by British.later,the Union of south Africa was created as a self dominion of the British empire on 1910..

Freedom. History. After the South African war,the Union of South Africa was created as a self -governing dominion of British Empire on 31st May 1910..

The success. The NELSON MANDELA was finally become South Africa's first Black President after More than three centuries of white rule.Mr MANDELA's African National Congress party won 252 of 400 seats in first democratic elections of South Africa's history. The inauguration ceremony took place in The Union building amphitheatre in Pretoria,attended by politicians and dignitaries from More than 140 countries..

After the elections NELSON MANDELA and other two deputy President were sworn.At that time the South Africa is filled up with colours.Before ,the sworns a spectacular array of South African jets,helicopters and troop carriers roared in perfect formation over the Union building.
