Remember the gender signs?.
Male: Upper side of the head.
Female: Lower side of the head.
For Mother & Father Signs.
Picture a native American Indian with a feather headdress.
On his head being the chief of the tribe.
Your Active hand with handshape “5” Represents the feather.
Your Mother & Father are the Chiefs in the family!.
Isn’t it amazing how they thought of their signs?!.
With most of Family members signs you just position your signing hand.
On the upper or lower side of your head.
To indicate the gender!.
Marriage/Wedding Sign: Picture a couple together joining hands.
Divorce Sign: Both hands facing in letter “D” then moving apart.
The rest of the Family signs are “Initialised Signs”.
When the shape of your hand is the first letter of the word.
Example: Sign Aunt with “A” Uncle with “U”.
Are you Ready?!.
