[Audio] Let's see the habits which are useful in the daily life of an associate or packer. Things to do- Reach DH on time. Punch attendance on Quikchex. Login on HHD. Maintain personal hygiene. Be polite to everyone. Things to be very careful about- Avoid last-minute leaves. Do not use abusive words. Do not consume alcohol, tobacco, gutka, etc. on or before shift. ​.

[Audio] Things to do and avoid in the picking and packing process..

[Audio] While using the Hand Held Device, the associate should use ONLY their OWN user ID. The associate should not share user ID with other associates in any situation. ​.

[Audio] While picking a product, pick the product in good condition at the time of picking by doing a quick 6-side check of the packing. Do not pick up damaged products while picking- check if there are any cuts, tears, leakage or holes. ​.

[Audio] How to select the right bag size while picking? Only select the bag size based on the system suggestion in HHD. Do not select extra bags of different sizes during the packing as it can lead to wastage and mismatch in system. ​.

[Audio] How to use insulated bags for chiller / frozen products? Frozen & chiller items should always be kept in insulated bag and gel pads. Frozen & chiller items should not be packed in paper bags directly as the items will melt and cause poor customer experience. ​.

[Audio] Things to remember while product placement in the pigeonhole bins. Always check the order quantity and quality before putting a bag in a pigeonhole for handshake. Do not put a bag in the pigeonhole for handshake without scanning. ​.

[Audio] Let's understand what to do during product movement. Use a trolley while moving the products for faster put away. Don't carry items in hand as it may cause strain and tiredness. ​.

[Audio] Now let us see what to do for proper stacking process. Always stack large packet items flour, rice, sugar, detergent, etc. properly. Improper stacking results in package damage due to pulling or tearing. ​.

[Audio] Let's see how to place products properly. Always keep the product in the bin during put away. Do not place the product on the floor without a bin for hygienic purpose. ​.

[Audio] One of the important things for an associate to do is… to put away products based on their timing or TAT. The Frozen products must be put away immediately in the freezer and stored at -18 degrees. The Chiller products must be put away within 30 minutes of receiving and store at 0 to 4 degrees. The ambient products like Fruits and vegetables must be put away within one hour of receiving them and stored in ambient roat in 22 to 24 degrees. The dry and grocery products must be put away within the same day of receiving them..
